  • Looking for an at home workout that doesn't require a lot of equipment? Well on this Fit at Five we have just the workout for you. All you need is a rope! A ropes workout is great because it is essentially one stop shopping in the fitness department. It will work every single muscle at once which means less time you need to spend working out.

Personal trainer Ryan Thomson tells use the best thing to do is to focus on making the rope look like waves in the ocean. The different moves that you can do with the rope is endless. He showed us how to do lunges, biceps/triceps moves, and how we can even incorporate jumping jacks in with the rope.

Ryan tells us that when picking a rope to use you want either one that is an inch and a half or two inches. You then want to be at least 25 feet from the anchor. Each move should be done for 20 to 30 seconds at a time. If you can do it for longer that means you are making it to easy for yourself.

Have fun with this workout! Check out the Fit at Five video for more tips and instruction on how you can do a ropes workout at home.
