We've all hopped aboard a busy weather pattern folks; hold on tight!  After our light snow this morning and some breaks of sun this afternoon, expect increasing cloud cover for tonight as an area of low pressure approaches from the west. That low will spread some snow across the region by Thursday morning before the snow changes to rain.  That transition to rain will keep accumulation amounts down, but roads will certainly be sloppy.  After some clearing Thursday night, another low will approach from the west and bring increasing clouds to Maine.  Low pressure will redevelop to our south, then track northeast, close enough to bring another round of messy precipitation to the region Friday into Friday evening. As always, the preciptation type depends on where the low eventually tracks; right now it looks like snow changing to rain from the Bangor area to the coast, with a slower change going on north of the Bangor region. There is potential for several inches of accumulation north of Bangor by Friday night...again...dependng on the exact track of that low.  Check-in with us as we get closer to Friday!
